What is it?

Moonbird eBikes is a small electric vehicle brand which models showcase the traits representing a particular community. Whether it’s an NFT collection, a sport or hobby, every model will be regarded as THE Ebike that represents that specific community.

We all choose the accessories we wear, the type of car that we drive or the picture on our online profile, because we want belong to a particular culture or group. Displaying our interests allow us to form new friendships and connect with strangers that also share our passions. Our products are custom designed to help you express your interests.

The Genesis model is launching as a 500 limited edition redeemable NFT. Holders are entitled to a lifetime 10% off at moonbirdebikes.com, input on future designs and drops, discounted early access to future model, free overnight shipping on all accessories at the web-store, priority customer support and auto entry to future raffles and giveaways.

As the NFT art reveals, random holders will have upgraded perks like extra batteries, double ebike claims, Infinite Objects video prints and priority first round shipping.

This Genesis model has unique, never seen before features like, an owl sounding horn, a safety light that projects any NFT that is CC0 and an 8 bit paint scheme inspired by Moonbird 6289.

It has a range of 60 miles with pedal assist or 30 miles battery only on a single charge. It’s also equipped with dual air suspension, dual hydraulic brakes, safety light NFT projector and dual headlights. A 750 watt motor powered by a 13.5 amp lithium battery and a 7-speed Japanese Shimanno transmission that lets you ride at up to 28mph. The alarm system is equipped with a rearview camera that also transmits video to the included video watch. All terrain 20x4 fat tires and foldable pedals for easy storage.

How does it benefit the Moonbirds and Mythics holder community?

A company targeting Europe, North America and Australia will elevate and expand the Moonbird brand outside the NFT space and will help onboard newcomers. The DAO will receive a 2% royalty. The first model will be launched as a redeemable NFT with the following benefits:

About the team

Hey, I'm Alex Rodriguez (AlexEdit: https://twitter.com/FlyersDistrict ). Our team has been bringing physical products to market since 2015. Our shipping and customer service facility in South Florida processes orders daily to customers and government organizations through the U.S. and Canada.

Before 2015, I worked as a Broadcast TV Producer and have a degree in Film Studies from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Aside from the warehouse and contractors in the U.S., members of our team own 8 independent small electric vehicle stores in Shenzhen, China. This puts us at the epicenter of the top small electric vehicle manufacturers in the world and gives us an early and inside look at new technologies being developed in this market.

Having designed and launched high end electronic products in the past gives us a deep understanding of the challenges that emerge during manufacturing, shipping and customer satisfaction process.

Building brands from the ground up, is something that every member of our team enjoys. That's why we truly believe that we will make Moonbird eBikes a global brand that the Moonbirds and Proof community will be proud of. In the summer, we're opening an office in Shenzhen to oversee production and build a customer service and global sales team. The sales team will develop a dealer network to quickly expand the brand and set up warranty, sales and service partnerships with local shops in high density, small-electric-vehicle-friendly cities and countries.

What are the risks?

A physical product that is launching as redeemable NFT is still a rare thing. However, we believe that NFT technology will replace the old Kickstarter-style, crowd funding model. We want to be one of the first to launch a physical product using NFT technology. If we’re too early for that shift or the message doesn’t reach to enough people, growth will be a lot slower. We must mint at least 135 of the 500 limited edition units to start manufacturing and launch the first model.

Solution: If we don’t sell at least 135, we’ll activate the PPC, social media influencer and affiliate marketing plans, to attract B2B and B2C customers.

Another risk is that the DAO doesn’t approve the funds and license to develop an ebike brand, this might slow down growth.

Solution: Change the name so that we do not need the Moonbird licensing rights and grow the brand by financing operations with generated revenue and self funded.

What will the money actually be spent on? Do you expect any other money to come in related to this project, e.g. revenues?

Token gated web-store development - $5,000, the rest in house

Legal fees - $8,000 terms of service for electric bike, licensing agreement and pertinent legal work

Product liability insurance - $13,000

Marketing materials creation and smart contract development - $17500

Prototype development and hiring contractors - $10,000

There are many other startup expenses that are being funded by the founder and future revenue.
